What colleges offer the best study abroad programs?

Q. I'd like to pursue a degree in international studies and languages, and am very interested in studying abroad. What colleges, particularly in New York state, offer the best study abroad programs?

A. I'm not sure with colleges offer the best program. But there are programs not affliated with schools that you can still get school credit for.

Great question!
What would your focus be in international studies?
What countries interest you? What languages interest you? What languages do you already know?
I am not familiar with the international studies degree, but the more you can focus in on your specialty in this degree this may help you. Many colleges have study abroad programs.
If you are in the SUNY (State university of New York) system it may be easier to attend study abroad programs from other college without worry for credit transfer and additional tuition fees. However if you want to attend a study abroad program outside of SUNY (and you are in SUNY) or in a private NY college (and you are in SUNY) or visa versa - cost and ease of transferring credits becomes challenging.
